TNR Manifesto

  • The time has come. We no longer provide for ourselves. We have forgotten.

The time of mindless consuming and wanton creation and destruction is nearing an end. No longer is the luxury of automated vice without sacrifice. We pay dearly for these luxuries, and we pay with our soul and sense of self worth. The time has come to shed the yoke of our ignorance and step into the light of self reliance. There is a yoke to be burdened, but let it be your own.

Do not misunderstand our intentions. We do not advocate an uprising. Uprisings are squashed, rebellions breed chaos, and revolutions leave behind them a void, a vacuum that is often filled with the detritus that follows such a dust up. We advocate the New Renaissance.

Create purely. Create with intention. Move forward with genuine unapologetic tenacity. The world, YOUR world needs you. Your Neighbor needs you. We need you. Not to solve a problem or find a solution, though there will be plenty of that, but to break new ground. Old, rested, feral and above all fertile new ground.

Our intended path, and hopefully yours, will be to revive the "Old Ways," the forgotten skills, trades, and practices of generations past. The sustainable future will be, must be, an agrarian one. Man CAN produce with little consumption. Man CAN revive and restore the forgotten earth. Man CAN shrug off the burden of debt, dependence, and derelict resignation. Man CAN be the source of his own provisions, and those of his family and community.

Let us learn the Old Ways, marry them with lessons this modern age has taught us, and create a present that no imaginary Utopic future could ever fulfill. Let us return to the land, technology in hand, and with a sense of pride, ownership, and brotherhood live a life that leaves us compelled. Let each man generate his wealth for his own, and work to better his brother. Let each us feel the painful satisfaction of a hard days labor, and the glory that comes from spoils. Let us revive our collective ingenuity and individual spirits.

Let us bring forth The New Renaissance.
